Our Mission

Indigenous Missing Persons Support Services Ltd exists to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families and communities affected by missing persons. We provide culturally respectful support, advocacy, awareness, referrals, practical assistance and community connection during some of the most difficult and uncertain moments a family can experience.

What We Do

Supporting families and communities through culturally respectful services.

Family Support

Compassionate support, information and referral pathways for families affected by missing persons.

Advocacy & Awareness

Raising public awareness and helping ensure Indigenous missing persons matters receive visibility, dignity and respect.

Community Connection

Working with families, volunteers, community organisations, agencies and supporters to strengthen the support available to affected families.

Search Support

Where appropriate and lawful, helping coordinate culturally respectful volunteer and specialist search support in consultation with families and relevant authorities.

Who We Support

We support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families, young people, Elders, rural and remote communities, and families experiencing trauma, grief or uncertainty because a loved one is missing.

Our support is guided by cultural respect, compassion and a commitment to walking alongside families for as long as they need us.
